A great family beach with clean and calm water. It is just 8km away from the city, but you have to ride with car as there is no train line.
Sandringham Beach
This beach is placed in one of Melbourne's bayside suburbs popular for walkers, cyclists and baechgoers. It is calm, quite and accessible by train.
Parkdale Beach
It is a bit of drive from the centre, but if you are looking for perfect getaway this beach is great place to relax and swim.
Half Moon Bay
It is wonderful isolated beach with a nice atmosphere for relaxing and great place to watch the sunset over the ocean. You can grab yourself with ships and calamari and enjoy the view.
